    Job details
  • The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees and designated areas of the hospital.
  • The Pharmacist practice shall be carried out in accordance with all state/federal and DEA laws, TJC Standards, and hospital/departmental policies and procedures.
  • Responsibilities also include collaboration with Physicians on drugs and dosing, education of nursing staff, patients and physicians regarding medications, Medication Safety initiatives, patient profiles, avoidance and reporting of adverse drug reaction, mixing of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements and narcotic accountability.
    Job requirements
  • Must have 2+ years experience
  • ACLS required
  • BLS required
    Schedule information
  • Day Shift 4/10's with the majority of the shifts being 0800-1830, but there could be some shifts scheduled 0600-1630 or 0930-2000 based on facility needs.
  • There may be an occasional weekend shift as well, based on the needs of the facility.

I really enjoy working for Access Healthcare. My recruite, Deina, goes to bat for me. The agency pays better than other agencies. They will match pay as well. Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
