Description

Certification details

Louisiana State Radiology Technology (LSRT) licensure is mandatory.
Current BLS Certification is required.
ARRT certification is necessary.

Job details

The Radiologic Technologist arranges patients for radiological examinations and performs advanced radiological procedures.
Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
Uses pre-established imaging protocols and departmental policy to perform safe operation of imaging equipment and all functions of the job.
Provides complete pre- and post-education to patients and family.
Reports to Supervisor or Manager.

Job requirements

Louisiana State Radiology Technology (LSRT) licensure.

Additional Details

AHA or ARC Only - BLS Certification required.
Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification ran within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration.
ARRT certification required.
MMR immunization records required.
Fit Test for N95- 3M 1860, 1860s or 1870+ must be completed within 1 year prior to start, updated annually.
Hepatitis B immunization records required.
Influenza Vaccine required from October - March; exemptions accepted with proper documentation.
TB Test results required.
Health Statement signed within 1 year of start stating the ability to work without restrictions.
Varicella immunization records required.
Tdap vaccination within the past 10 years or Declination accepted.
Annual TB Questionnaire required within 6 months of start.
FMOLHS Criminal Background Check Results required.
FMOLHS Drug Screen with Negative 10 Panel within 30 days prior to start.
FMOLHS Badge Photo and FMOLHS Contract Annual Education required.

I really enjoy working for Access Healthcare. My recruite, Deina, goes to bat for me. The agency pays better than other agencies. They will match pay as well. Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
