  • ACLS within first six months and biannually thereafter

  • Critical Access Hospital
  • OB/Labor & Delivery Services for the community
  • OB/Labor & Delivery Nurse role
  • Independent work in completing assignments
  • Utilizing after hours call services, holidays, and weekends
    Job requirements
  • Alaska RN License at time of submission
  • Flu vaccination requirement
  • Proficiency in L&D and Postpartum care
  • Flexibility to float to Medical Surgical Floor & ED as needed
  • Experience with OB/Labor & Delivery
    Schedule information
  • Primary shift to be discussed at interview
  • Need RN to be flexible to facility needs
  • On Call for emergencies including trauma and fetal distress C-sections
  • Able to react calmly in emergency environments
    Unit specific information
  • Focus on 1:1 care during labor
  • Monitors and documents electronic fetal heart rate tracing
  • Cares for high-risk maternal or neonatal patients
  • Provides breastfeeding support and consults
  • Supervises and delegates to CNA and housekeeping staff

I really enjoy working for Access Healthcare. My recruite, Deina, goes to bat for me. The agency pays better than other agencies. They will match pay as well. Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
