- The RN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Units include 3 East is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents, and tailoring care to meet their needs. The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services. 3 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit providing care in a home-like environment.
Job details
- Associates in Nursing required.
- Need valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
- 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
- The ability to work well within a team of other care providers.
- Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week.
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
Job requirements
- 3 East specializes in Alzheimer's/dementia care.
- The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit focuses on short-term rehab services.
- 3 West provides long-term care in a home-like environment.
Unit specific information
- Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
- Orientation up to 16 hours may be unpaid.
- St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.

Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
