Job details

Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist.
Interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors.
Acts as a resource person for MRI technical and other issues.
Demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.
Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room - equipment, supplies and medications.
Maintains images and archives associated with patient data.
Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

ARRT registered is required.
Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire.
BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date.
State of WI license in Radiologic Technology if performing CT or general radiography; no state license required if limited to MRI and/or Ultrasound.

Additional Details

For sites requiring advanced certification in MRI & CT, MR certification must be achieved within the first 18 months.
CT certification must be achieved within 30 months of hire date.

Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
