  • Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
  • -Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients’ needs.
  • -Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • -Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
  • -Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
  • -Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • -Manages care of patients.
  • -Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
  • -Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
  • -Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
  • -Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    Job requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of previous Clinical Pediatric experience required and 2 years of PICU
    Schedule information
  • Float requirements- Will be required to float to wherever is needed throughout facility. This includes Adult units/etc.
  • When floating to Adult floors, RN will not take assignment but act as a PCT.
  • ******Float requirements- Agency nurses have an expectation to float to Mother/Baby and Pediatric ED. But additionally have the expectation to float to any other floor (depending on the needs of the hospital) SOLELY as a resource nurse/extra set of hands*****

Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
