Profiles will include location number of beds patient rations and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Tell us about the units:Number of Beds – 4 procedure rooms one of the four primarily used for EP studies and Pacemaker and ICD device implants 2 of the four rooms can be used cardiac catheterization peripheral procedures and Interventional Radiology Procedures. 1 room primarily dedicated for interventional radiology minor procedures. 12 bed pre/post holding roomNumber of Staff – 4 RN FTEs manage Pre and Post 6 RN FTEs for procedural rooms and 4 FTEs for radiology technologistsType of staff:RNs RTs and one RCIS. Department has 1 part-time secretary and 1 full time RN managerDay Shift –Night Shift –Patient Ratios – 2 RNS and 1 RT to a procedureType of equipment – Philips Allura FD20-1 Philips Azurion-2 GE room -1 Merge hemodynamic monitoring equipment Philips ISCV PACS systemEMR - EPIC

MUST have ability to scrub cardiac cath cases and STEMI programs.

List typical procedures performed on units: Left and right heart catheterization coronary interventions coronary thrombectomy temporary pacemaker insertions cardioversions iabp insertion some impella plvad placements rotoblator coronary atherectomy peripheral angiograms and peripheral interventions peripheral atherectomy thrombolysis mechanical thrombectomy renal interventions carotid stenting Endo Vascular Abdominal Artery Stent Grafting All types of interventional radiology procedures from central line insertions PICC lines Permacaths Tunneled Permacaths fistulogram fistula declotting and PTA/Stenting Embolic procedures uterine artery embolization GI embolization Y-90 hepatic radiation embolization GI bleed embolization drains abscessograms kyphoplasty implantable loop recorder insertions and removals permanent single dual and CRT-P device insertions ICD single dual and CRT-D insertions and generator change outs diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and ablations.

Please note I am not looking for someone with experience in all of our areas but primarily able to scrub most cases in a cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology environment.
Dress Code: Include requirements but most of all not acceptable attire.Scrub Color - Department provides scrubs as well as locker room.We can accommodate most folks for lead aprons
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department outstanding department/team awards reigning annual chili cook-off winners etc.
Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology tenure and experience of staff schedule options etc
