This is the largest hospital in South Dakota and has been consistently named a Top 100 Hospital in the nation. This facility has 545 beds and a level II trauma emergency care center to meet the needs of the community. This city has a great food scene with more than 700 restaurants. Year-round recreation activities include indoor and outdoor golfing, hiking, skiing, and more. Unwind at one of the many breweries in the area!
OB/GYN Sonographer needed for Sioux Falls, SD!
Infertility Clinic setting
Five, 8 hour days. 7:30-4:00 p.m. Mon-Fri. Every other weekends, no call.
General job duties. Perform OB/GYN exams such as, transvaginal dating scans, nuchal translucency, anatomical surveys (low risk and high risk), follow up growth scans, BPP’s, umbilical artery dopplers, middle cerebral dopplers, possible fetal echocardiograms, transvaginal gynecological evaluations, follicular exams, saline infusion sonograms, ultrasound guided procedures (IUD insertions).
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
EPIC (Radiant), AS OB/GYN application for structured reports.
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
A minimum of 4 years working experience in OB/GYN. High risk obstetrical experience of 2 years desirable but not required. Experience in multiples and detecting birth defects. Knowledge in performing Detailed or Targeted anatomical surveys which includes evaluating fetal hearts per AIUM’s detailed protocol. Voluson E10 equipment experience desired but not required.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
RMDS in OB/GYN, BLS current, NT certified by Fetal-Medicine Foundation or NTQR.
