The Interventional Radiology Technologist is a skilled person qualified by technological education to provide patient services using diagnostic equipment under the supervision of a doctor of medicine. The technologist will be required to Scrub/Assist the physician during procedures. Performs related duties as assigned. Required education: High school diploma or equivalent. Required licensure/registries: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's ARRT. Required certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association BLS Heartsaver Card. Other: Working Conditions Mental and Physical Requirements: This individual must be capable of walking long distances and standing while wearing lead. Equipment Used: Phillips Angiographic Suite Siemens Fluoroscopy GE CT scanner and Ultrasound.
