• General job duties. Types of procedures required.

• Running Injector, Filming, Circulator

• Peripheral angiograms

• TCAR

• Endovascular AAA

• Operate c-arms in the general surgery area too



• Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)

• Philips (IR Lab)

• Ultrasound machine





• Required skills and minimum years of experience.

• Vascular Interventional Technologist with at least 2 years of experience





• Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

ARRT (VI) or (R) required, if (R), then must have vascular experience

BLS



• Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)

• Call required - variable

• Day shift (M-F, 630am – 500pm) - 8 hour shifts



• Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)

• 13 surgical suites w/ 2 hybrid suites

• Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.

• 2 weeks of orientation in the department





Additional Comments:

• Will work with 2 fulltime vascular surgeons and 1 parttime vascular surgeon. If there is downtime then you will be expected to work in the general surgery area and run a c-arm.
