Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist (Travel)

Position Details

  • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
  • Weekend Hours: On-call rotation
  • Call Requirements: Yes, shared with 5 co-workers
  • Float Requirements: May float to Hybrid IR suite located in Surgery as needed

Required Certifications and Experience

  • Certifications:

    • ARRT License
    • ISDH Tech License
    • BLS Certification
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience (highest required)
    • Ability to perform all routine IR-Rad procedures

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 225
  • Patient Types: Inpatient (INPT), Outpatient (OP), Emergency Department (ED)
  • Patient Ratios: Dayshift staffed with 5 technologists covering 2 IR suites plus Surgery-based Hybrid suite as needed
  • Equipment Used:
    • Siemens Artis Zee
    • Philips FD20
    • Philips Epiq 5 Ultrasound
    • Sonosite Ultrasound
    • Philips RN-Patient monitors
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Desired Candidate Attributes

  • Proficient technologist motivated to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to fill in various shifts if staffing issues arise
  • Ability to complete requested imaging exams in a timely fashion

Dress Code

  • Scrubs provided by facility (light blue surgery scrubs available onsite)
