About

Staunton is located in Virginia, about 40 miles west of Charlottesville. This cute town has five historic districts, all boasting pristine Victorian-era architecture that survived the Civil War. With 100 restaurants, cafes, art galleries and shops, there’s no lack of things to do. History buffs can tour the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum, and outdoor enthusiasts can have fun and get dirty at the Betsy Bell Wilderness Park. On a sunny day, drive to one of the nearby wineries to taste some local vino. For the thrill-seekers, check out some of the haunted spots in Staunton, like Mary Baldwin University, which is apparently haunted by several spooky spirits.
