Weekly Schedule: 4x12
Floating Required: Yes, to any unit within the hospital except for Psych and ED.
Common Patient Diagnosis: Chest pain, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, NSTEMI, Appendicitis, Stroke, TIA, UTI, STEMI, Cholecystitis, Cellulitis.
Description:
There could be central line placement, Lumbar puncture, Cardioversion, Chest tube placement, Wound Vacs, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis.
Provides direct patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing assessments.
They collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, while ensuring proper documentation of patient progress.
Additionally, they monitor telemetry equipment to detect arrhythmias, provide interventions as needed, and educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
Experience Required:
01 year experience.
Tele Interpretation required.
Requirements:
Must live 75 Miles away from facility
Active NY RN License with NURSYS license verification report.
Current AHA BLS, ACLS required.
NIHSS preferred.
