Standard shift: Days (Starts 07:00 AM) / Nights (Starts 07:00 PM)

Weekly schedule: 3x12

Float Requirement: Yes, Must be willing to Float.

Description:
A Registered Nurse who is responsible for the nursing care of patients in the Operating Room setting guided by policies and procedures of the hospital.

Job Duties:
Review patient medical history, perform assessments, and verify surgical site and procedure to ensure correct patient preparation.
Assist in preparing the patient for surgery, including positioning, sterile draping, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready.
Provide direct assistance to surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring patient status, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Assist with the safe transfer of the patient to the recovery room, monitor vital signs, and ensure proper recovery from anesthesia.
Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the surgery, handling instruments and supplies according to strict infection control protocols.

Experience Required:
Must have 2 years Operating Room experience.
Must have 1 year travel experience.

Education Required:
Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)

Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current California nursing license, or current multistate compact RN license.
