Common Patient Diagnosis: ENT, Ortho, Urology, General Surgery, Neuro, Podiatry, Plastics, and Trauma.
Description:
Responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, ensuring proper surgical instruments and supplies are available.
They assist surgeons during procedures by providing necessary instruments, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
The OR nurse also collaborates with the surgical team to prevent infection, manages documentation, and monitors the patient's condition throughout the surgery.
Experience Required:
01 year experience.
Trauma and Neuro experience required.
EPIC experience required.
Education:
Required Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum Degree Required:
Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
BLS required.
PALS preferred.
