Weekly Schedule: 3x12, 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM.
Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14
Floating Required: Yes, to all units except Behavioral and ER.
Scrub Color: Navy (Unit Specifics)
Common Patient Diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx.
Drips and medications: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine & Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG, Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TPN and Insulin.
Specialty Equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun).
Requirements:
Must live 75 Miles away from facility
ACTIVE NY RN License with NURSYS license verification report.
Current AHA ACLS , BLS, NIHSS.
02+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.
02 recent ICU Charge/Manager.
EMR Exp Required: EPIC.
