Floating Required: Yes, floating to ICU / ER / MS / MST.
Job Description:
Cross-trained Candidates that can work in different units or specializations like Critical Care, Med-Surg, and Tele.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization skills and computer literacy.
Experience Required:
01 year experience.
Education Required:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
Stroke Certification.
Basic Coronary Care within 06 months of hire.
CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Skills:
Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within 02 years of hire.
TNCC recommended within 02 years of hire.
