Description

Job Title: Radiographer
Department: Adult Diagnostic X-Ray
Standard shift: Nights
Weekly schedule: 3x12
Schedule Notes: Thursday/Friday/Saturday - every other Sunday - Nights - 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM [Level 1 Trauma/Surgery/ICU] Description:
Under general supervision, performs advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations.
Circulates to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned by the supervisor (For example, surgery, trauma, and pediatrics) and is recognized as an expert in his/her field, or participates in a training program to enhance knowledge and skills in other specialized radiology areas or modalities. Qualifications:
Education:
Associate’s degree or higher.
Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty.
OR
Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty. Licensing/Certification:
ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required by the hiring department must be current upon hire or advancement.
AHA BLS. Experience:
One (1) year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty required by the hiring department.
