Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 5x8
Schedule Notes: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Description:
Floating required throught the facility as needed
Contract SLP to provide inpatient speech therapy services for the facility.
Position would require SLP to perform both speech/swallow evaluations and treatment in the inpatient setting as well as perform VFSS for both inpatient and outpatients.
This department provides evaluation and therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients with speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and/or swallowing dysfunction.
If your department is purely inpatient, please notify FP&A and we will map your department appropriately to compare to the SLP: Inpatient benchmark. Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Licensing/Certification:
Active California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an SLP
