Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech
Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 4x10
Schedule Notes: 06:15 AM - 04:15 PM [07:00 AM - 05:30 PM on call per unit need]
Weekend: per unit requirement
Holidays: per unit requirements
Description:
The ideal candidate will assist in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and sterile technique.
This role requires technical expertise, precision, and collaboration with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff. Qualifications:
Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program Licensing/Certification:
Active Georgia Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility to obtain
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
ARRT certification in Interventional Radiology (VI) or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Basic Life Support Required
BLS - Instructor Required
BLS - Provisional Required Experience:
1 year experience in Interventional Special Procedures
