Standard Shift: Nights, 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM.
Weekly Schedule: 3x12

Description:
Float required (IMCU, depends on background) & every other weekend (or less) required based on staffing.
Pyxis medication system EPIC documentation, SBAR communication.
Provider Support: Pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, rapid response teams, respiratory services, transportation, unit secretary.
Provider Coverage: Intensivist, CRNA, Hospitalist, and Anesthesiologist 12hr/day, 24hr on call, and NP in house 24/7.
Experience Required:
1 year experience required.

BMT, Inpatient Oncology, Administration of bone marrow; Graft Rejection; Graft-versus-host disease; Stem cell therapies; Administration of chemotherapy; Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy; Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy; IV push administration of chemotherapy; Management/disposal cytotoxic spills; Monitor chemotherapy; Oral Administration of chemotherapy; Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values; Accessing Ports; Administration of coagulation factors; Antifungals; Antivirals; Blood/Blood product administration; Care and management of ports; Central line blood draw; Central Line/Implanted Line Care; Infusion pump management; Intravenous hydration/multivitamins; PICC line care; Starting IVs; Antiemetic; Antitumor; Antibiotic; Corticosteroids; Neupogen; Hormonal therapy; Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS); Anaphylaxis; Extravasation injury; Hemorrhage; Sepsis; Spinal Cord Compression; Patient/Family education and support; Alteration in skin and mucous membranes; Altered mental status; Constipation/diarrhea; Dysphagia; Edema; Nausea/vomiting; Neuropathy.
Requirements:
Current RN License, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
BLS (AHA only, no Heart Code).
ACLS (AHA only).
Preferred Experience:
05 years experience preferred.
BMT/Stem Cell/Cellular Therapy experience is a big plus!
CHEMO cert (OCN preferred).
