  • Description

    Coordinates, supervises and educates staff regarding activities associated with surgical instrument preparation, including instruments by procedure and instrument count sheets for assigned services. Organizes inventories and maintains sterile instrument inventory system for assigned services.

    Required Qualifications:
    H.S. Diploma or GED
    Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
    Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
    5 years of recent instrumentation/sterilization experience in an acute hospital.
