Description

The MRI Technologist performs a variety of magnetic resonance-based diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age-specific criteria. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.

Required qualifications:

National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging upon hire or
National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
