Respiratory Therapist – RRT - RT
Full-Time / Permanent Position
Shift: 7:00am – 7:30pm or 7:00pm – 7:30am + weekend rotation

Responsibilities
Monitor equipment related to cardiopulmonary therapy.
Collaborate with other members of healthcare team while providing respiratory expertise.
Administer aerosol-based medications.
Analyze blood samples to determine levels of oxygen and other gases.
Manage life support mechanical ventilation systems and other artificial airways.
Assess vital signs and document clinical findings
Perform patient examinations, stress tests, access lung capacity, spectrum specimens, etc.
Provide patient education to patient and family regarding various pulmonary therapies for a variety issues including asthma, COPD, smoking cessation, etc.
Requirements
Completion of an approved respiratory therapy program
RRT Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
CRT may be accepted in place of RRT. However, an RRT must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Candidate must be eligible to sit for RRT exam at time of hire
BLS and ACLS certification
