Job Description
As a histologist, you'll prepare tissue samples for pathologists. Working in a lab at a hospital, outpatient center, private lab or other healthcare facility, you'll prep samples for diagnosis, stain and mount specimens on slides, keep detailed records, and more. You'll play an important role in helping providers and patients get the answers they need.
Minimum Requirements- At least 1 year of recent experience in relevant setting and specialty
- ASCP Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
