Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (RRT - PICU)
StartDate: 1/6/2025 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1908.19 - $2198.57

Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU/PICU needed asap for 13 weeks 12-hour nights shift. Weekends/Holidays required. Floating required- May need to support PresNow locations. May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. May need to support PresNow locations. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. SCRUBS: Required and not provided by the facility.Must have 2 years’ current NICU and/or PICU experience required (no exceptions) and RRT licensure (CRT is not acceptable). Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Certifications: BLS required. PALS, NRP and ACLS preferred. BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EMR: EPIC experience preferred. Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility.

Required Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist, NICU
Experience: 2 years
Licenses: RT-NM
Certifications: RRT-National Board for Respiratory Care(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)
AND
Registered Respiratory Therapist, PICU
Experience: 2 years
On Call: $4 - 2 hr min
SSN Required
DOB Required



Preferred Qualifications
PALS, NRP and ACLS preferred.
EPIC experience preferred.
