Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 7/22/2024 Available Shifts: 8 E Pay Rate: $1442.06 - $1661.51
Sono-Diag/Vas Tech needed asap SHIFT: M-F EVENINGS (3:30P-12A) 1-2 DAYS CALL PER WEEK REQUIREMENTS: - ARDMS- RVT - BLS - AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN SPECIALTY PREFERRED **TRAVELERS SUBMITTED WITHOUT THE NECESSARY INFO OR REQUIREMENTS WILL BE REJECTED** MUST INCLUDE THE HOME ADDRESS & SSN ON THE SUBMISSIONS- TRAVELERS MUST BE GREATER THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
Required Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- ARDMS- RVT
- BLS
- AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN SPECIALTY PREFERRED
**TRAVELERS SUBMITTED WITHOUT THE NECESSARY INFO OR REQUIREMENTS WILL BE REJECTED**
MUST INCLUDE THE HOME ADDRESS & SSN ON THE SUBMISSIONS- TRAVELERS MUST BE GREATER THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY
