Occupational Therapist needed for acute hospital setting in Boston, MA!
13 weeks
Shift: AM - 8HRS:
40hr Days 8am-4:30pm no weekends no major holidays no on-call.
Required Experience: At least 1 year in the acute care hospital environment. Ideal overall experience is 2 years. Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques be a good communicator comfortable working with other members of the health care team i.e. nursing MD Case management team player strong time management skills be self-directed flexible and able to multitask.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity in working with patients in a hospital setting ICU experience would be an added bonus. Experience in working with diverse patient populations is also a plus. Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus.
Required Certs: MA OT licensure CPR certification AHA BLS healthcare provider
Average Patient Ratio or Patients seen in a shift: Goal productivity is 5.2 hours in a 8 hour day. Therapists usually manage a patient list of 8-15 patients and are usually able to see between 6-7 patients.
