Description

Position Highlights
Full Time: 3-12 hour shifts a week
Schedule: (6:30-7:00)
Sign on Bonus: Up to $15K, based on eligibility

Qualifications
Licensure/Certifications:
Valid and current Arizona RN License or compact state license with the ability to become licensed in Arizona within 30 days
BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)
Certification (Preferred) but required to attain within 1 year of being hired.
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; bachelor’s degree is preferred
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience as a Licensed RN with demonstrated technical proficiency

Responsibilities
As an RN Charge in our Med Surg Department, you'll be the driving force that transforms patient care into an unforgettable experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborate hand-in-hand with the nurse manager/director, orchestrating the coordination, direction, and evaluation of patient care, unit activities, and staff performance during your shift.
Craft patient assignments that respect individual needs, growth trajectories, and development by using your deep understanding of the nursing process
Manage clinical and non-clinical activities on the unit in absence of the unit manager/director.
Foster a seamless flow of information among team members and others.
Lead the charge in elevating patient care outcomes; dive into improvement initiatives by offering your insights and energy to drive positive change.
Serve as a mentor and guide, nurturing the professional and personal development of your colleagues
Swiftly troubleshoot and find solutions that ensure exceptional care and keep the nurse manager/director informed, of circumstances, actions, and outcomes
