As a Clinical Quality Specialist - Registered Nurse (RN), here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Remain current on home health regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Coordinate, organize, implement, and evaluate the QAPI program according to all company standards, professional standards, all laws, and other regulations, and identified agency needs.
- Perform audits and analysis of patient care and clinical documentation, identify areas for improvement, implement plans of improvement.
- Complete data collection and analysis to ensure regulatory compliance related to the Home Health agency clinical management team.
- Complete agency Quality Improvement activities according to the agency QI plan.
- Collaborate with the Management Team to provide education based on audits, regulatory updates, policy changes and other identified agency needs.
- Assists with orientation, education, and training of home hospice employees.

Requirements
A few must-haves for our Clinical Education Specialist - Registered Nurse (RN) :
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program; BSN preferred.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Carolina or compact multi-state license.
- 3-5 years clinical experience in Nursing required, management experience preferred
- Home health experience with knowledge of Medicare guidelines required.
- Knowledge/certification in ICD-10 coding preferred.
