Telemetry Travel RN
• Plan, execute, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with the health care team.
• Monitor, interpret and record cardiac EKG strips.
• Monitor patients’ vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
• Answer questions and educate patients and families on lifestyle changes, home care protocols, and ongoing treatments.
• If necessary, respond to medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• Also referred to as: tele registered nurse, telemetry nurse, cardiac nurse, intermediate care nurse, IMCU nurse.

Job Requirements
• 2 years of experience as a Telemetry nurse
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
