Their network consists of 10 hospitals, 300+ community-based locations, and the largest home health provider in the region, and is partnered with a prestigious medical university.

Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at our brand new outpatient center in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in MRI imaging and be skilled in performing high-quality diagnostic scans.

Job Highlights:

• Shift Options: Early morning and mid-shift schedules available.
• Schedule: 5x8’s
• AI functioning equipment
• Paid Time Off (PTO): Begins accruing on day one, with increasing accrual rates based on tenure.
• 19 days PTO to start (5.846 hours per pay period).
• Increases at 2nd, 6th, and 8th anniversaries.

• 100% match on the first 3% contributed, 50% match on the next 2%. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Adhere to all MRI safety protocols and best practices.
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
  • Work closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals for accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of MRI equipment.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns during procedures.
  Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent credentials (MR ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance ARRT).
  • State of Maryland licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
