Description
Stability Direct is pleased to announce that we have partnered with a 25-bed critical access hospital and offer a range of services in Fort Bragg. The Mendocino Coast offers a small-town atmosphere and is known for its natural beauty, from the smallest to the tallest redwoods in the world, to glass bottom beaches and the only oceanfront botanical gardens in the United States. With whale watching, fishing, hiking trails and many more outdoor adventures readily available, this coastal region is a place to immerse yourself in its landscape and history.
Surgical Technologist
Processes and sterilizes surgical and hospital instruments and equipment. Assembles surgical instrument sets and trays. Distributes patient care supplies and equipment. Provides support for the surgery department by processing all sterile instruments and supplies for surgical cases, maintaining documentation of sterility and biological indicator logs, and maintaining processing equipment daily. Responsible for tracking, inspecting and processing of loaner instrument trays.
Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Sterile Processing Technician certification: Required
- National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: Preferred
- Certified Board Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST): Required
