Located in downtown Charleston, enjoy a beautiful scenic walk on the historic cobblestone streets or a nice stroll down the beach and grab a quick bite to eat at the many surrounding restaurants before heading to Roper Hospital to provide superb patient care as a Histotechnologist I and II.
Job Summary
The Histotechnologist performs routine and special Histology procedures requiring technical skill, judgment, and independent decision-making following established standards, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Histotechnologist I Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Experience: At least one year of laboratory work experience required. Associates hired into this role prior to 10/15/2022 will be grandfathered into role.

Licensure/Certification: None required.
Histotechnologist II Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: None Required.

Licensure/Certification: HT (ASCP) registered. ASCP certified.
