Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location

  • City: Tucson, Arizona
  • Facility: Northwest Medical Center (part of Community Health Systems)

Employment Details

  • Type: Travel
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM)

Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • Arizona RN License
  • Experience: Cerner experience is required, specifically with Cerner Maternity as the reporting system.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients.
  • Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning for safe delivery of care.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
  • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Additional Information

  • The primary site is Northwest Medical Center, with potential floating to nearby facilities (Oro Valley Hospital or Northwest Houghton) within a 25-mile radius. Ample time will be provided for any location changes.
