A great School is looking for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their growing team!

Responsibilities and requirements include:

• Programming
• On-going teacher training
• Mentoring teachers and paraprofessional development goals  
• Conducts individualized criterion referenced inventories of behavior repertoires (assessments) for all students on an annual basis.
• Analyzes student progress on a daily or moment-to-moment basis.
• Development of curricula and behavior procedures to be followed in the classrooms.

Qualifications/Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree 
• New York State Teaching Certificate-Special Education
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification a plus
• NYS License Behavior Analyst a plus
• Must complete Personalized System of Instruction (PSI) training modules in a timely manner. Three-tiered training modules include knowledge of the terminology of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis, fast and accurate presentation and consecution of instruction (learn units), analysis of individual student data.
• An ability and willingness to train and supervise Teacher’s teacher aides in appropriate presentation of instruction and consecution of student behavior. Ability to model appropriate classroom behavior.
• Sensitivity to the communication, academic, and social needs of students with developmental disabilities at all levels of independence.
• School Building Leader (SBL) Certification a plus.
