Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.
• Planning for safe delivery of care.
• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of nursing experience required, with at least 2 years of recent LTAC experience in a hospital setting.
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Both certifications must be through the American Heart Association.
• Licensure: Must have an active Arkansas RN license.
