Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary Services, following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
- Maintaining airways and ventilator management
- Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
- Conducting pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
Facility Requirements
- Certifications:
- Must have NBRC RRT certification
- Must have Washington State RT license
- Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
