Unit Description

Overview: 64 Bed Emergency Department with hallway utilization, 75 bays which includes holds and pediatrics. Comfortable and proficient with caring for critically ill patients, behavioral health patients, and/or hold patients. Hold patients rarely include ICU and are primarily obs/acute inpatient admits. Average 150-190 visits daily. Ratio: 4:1, 5:1 Scrub Color: Navy Blue Charting System: Cerner

WEEKEND SHIFT- EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
Required Experience: Min 2 years in the ER as an RN as within the last 6 months. Preferred 3 years
High volume, fast pace
Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
RTO: 3 days or less, no Holiday RTO.
Holiday: 1 per contract 1.3 bill rate
OT: billable over 48hr
Float: within specialty or ED Observation unit
First Day Instructions
Sent by client directly to the worker the Friday prior to Monday GEO.
The worker will receive three emails from client
If your worker has not received FDI by 3pm on Friday, alert MSP.
Orientation Overview
Monday- Virtual GEO
Tuesday-Thursday – Classes with education
Friday-Sunday – Orientation Shifts
*Worker must be available the full 7 days of their first week for Orientation. No special scheduling for Orientation is permitted. If worker cannot attend full Orientation offer will be rescinded. *

3.Education to schedule their orientation classes.
