Unit Description: Overview: 64 Bed Emergency Department with hallway utilization, 75 bays which includes holds and pediatrics. Comfortable and proficient with caring for critically ill patients, behavioral health patients, and/or hold patients. Hold patients rarely include ICU and are primarily obs/acute inpatient admits. Average 150-190 visits daily. Ratio: 4:1, 5:1 Scrub Color: Navy Blue Charting System: Cerner

Additional Info: Required Experience: Min 2 years in the ER as an RN as within the last 6 months. Preferred 3 years High volume, fast pace Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC RTO: 3 days or less, no Holiday RTO. Holiday: required to work 1 per assignment Float: within specialty Orientation Overview Monday- Virtual GEO Tuesday-Thursday – Classes with education Friday-Sunday – Orientation Shifts *Worker must be available the full 7 days of their first week for Orientation. No special scheduling for Orientation is permitted. If worker cannot attend full Orientation offer will be rescinded. * 1.Their manager to review scheduling 2.HR to review badge instructions and other policies 3.Education to schedule their orientation classes.
