We are seeking a skilled CVIR Technologist to support both 2 locations. This is a 12-week assignment with the following schedule and requirements:
Schedule:
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 4x10-hour shifts
Monday - Friday with call on weekends
Call required: Minimum of 10 days per month with a 30-minute response time for call shifts
Every other holiday required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of current experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) or Cath Lab
Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, ACLS
Active NJ License in hand
Responsibilities:
Assist interventional radiologists during procedures by preparing and operating equipment, ensuring accurate visualization of the treated area.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
Operate and maintain a variety of radiological equipment.
Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff.
Assist in post-procedural care, including patient transfers and providing post-procedure instructions.
Maintain a sterile environment in the interventional suite.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals.
Document and maintain accurate patient records, including procedure reports and imaging data.
Ensure the interventional suite is well-stocked, organized, and ready for procedures.
