Position Name: Registered Nurse CVICU
Location: Ft. Walton Bch, FL 32547
Shift Preference: Nights Only (7p-7a)
Shift Differentials: $4.25/hour Night Shift Differential
Sign on: 15k
Relocation Assistance: Up to 5k
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic CVICU RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.
What will you will do in this role:
· Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
· Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
· Provide high focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
· Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
· 1 year of RECENT CVICU acute care RN experience
· BLS required
· ACLS required within 6 months of hire
· BSN is preferred
· CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.

· Why is the position open? Nurses leaving to go to NP school – turnover from high work load
· How long has it been open? 6/12/24
· How many total beds are in the unit? 8
· Have you extended any offers to candidates? No
· What level trauma is this facility? Level 2
· How does your interview process work? Direct schedule phone screen with Corey; Corey will direct schedule 2 hour onsite interview or 1 hour video call interview for soonest possible date.
· Is the first call with the HR or hiring manager? With Corey – 30 minutes
· Phone call / zoom /onsite? Phone call
· Who will be on the interview with them? Jane Gustafson and team
· Who has final say on hiring? CNO/ACNO
