A Gastrointestinal (GI) Lab nurse is an RN who specializes in GI tract diseases and disorders, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, acid reflux, and Crohn's disease, among many others. GI nurses assist physicians with various procedures and treatments, and provide patient education.
