Position Information

• Department: OB/Gyn
• Role: RN
• Specialty: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Post-partum (LDRP)
• Shift: PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday days, Friday/Saturday nights)
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:

  • NRP
  • Stable
  • AWOHN intermediate or advanced
  • ACLS
• Years of Experience: 2 years
• Patient Population: Labor, Post-Partum, Neonates

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 9
• Patient Ratios: Varies based on patient acuity
• Equipment: IV Pumps, Epidural Pumps, Fetal Monitoring equipment, Fetal Doppler, Syringe Pump
• EHR: Med Host + Centricity

  • Labor experiences
  • Postpartum care
  • Stabilization of critical newborns for transfers
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience with Centricity
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment:

  • Term and late preterm indications
  • Gestational Hypertension
  • Gestational Diabetes
• Personality Fit: Team player, flexible schedule, experience with LDRP
