Ratios: 1:1-4. Experience Required: 2 years of experience required. First-time Travelers are accepted. Every other weekend required. Certifications Required: ACLS. Skills Required: Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Multi-System Organ Failure, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Sheath Removal Chronic/Acute Renal failure experience, IV Insulin Protocols, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Procedural Sedation Administration, Respiratory/thoracic experience, Infection Prevention, Experience with Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac. Skills Preferred: Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, CVVHD/CRRT/Shunts and Fistula Care, Hypothermia protocol/Artic Sun. Block Scheduling: NO Block Scheduling or schedule requests will be approved. Floating: Must be willing to float within expertise and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
