Description
Cardiovascular Sonography Technologist – RDCS / ARDMS
HealthCare Support seeks a Cardiovascular Sonography Technologist – RDCS / ARDMS to fill an opening with a nationally ranked healthcare provider in Colorado Springs, CO
Daily Responsibilities for Cardiovascular Sonography Technologist – RDCS / ARDMS :
- When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice
- Monitors patient condition and reports status changes. Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
- Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
- Working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Schedule: Flexible shift options (40 hours per week, days or nights)
- On-Call: Yes
Required Qualifications for Cardiovascular Sonography Technologist – RDCS / ARDMS :
- Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- RDCS or RCS in adult echo or RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound (completed within 1 year of hire date)
