SHIFT- 3X12-HOUR WEEKEND SHIFTS (0) TRAVELER TO CHOOSE EITHER FRI, SAT, SUN or SAT, SUN, MON
- 4-5 weekends in 6 week schedule - can be days, evenings or nights
- 4-5 calls assigned within 6 week schedule (30-minute response required) - can be days, evenings or nights
- Holidays per dept need - can be days, evenings or nights
REQUIRED:
*MULTI-SPECIALTY OR EXPERIENCE, ESPECIALLY ORTHO & ROBOTIC
*LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXPERIENCE
*PREVIOUS TRAVELER EXPERIENCE
*DO NOT SUBMIT IF PA LICENSE IS NOT ACTIVE
*Active License at the time of submittal**
*Will care for Covid patients
*Could float if needed
*MINIMUM 2 years experience required
*Epic experience preferred, not required

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
