Description: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Experience: 1 year required, Unit Accepts First Time Travelers
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Patient Diagnosis: Labor and Delivery and pregnancy related complications, newborn care, post partum care
Procedures: Cesarean Sections, Vaginal Births, Circumcisions
Required certs:
ACLS
AWHONN Intermediate
BCLS
Circulate and FHM Experience Preferred
Scrubs not provided, colors - shocking pink and black
MAX RTO 7 Days *Call Required, Must be willing to float, every other weekend required
If there is a need for call, it is typically 1 shift within a 6 week schedule.
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
