Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

MUST HAVE CHARGE EXPERIENCE - this role is for charge nurse; will recieve $5/bump
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year accepted, 2 years preferred - Unit accepts first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics
RATIO: 1:5-6
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
REQUIRED SKILLS: BLS and NIH required
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed
NO RTO THE WEEK OF THE HOLIDAY WILL BE APPROVED, DATES WILL BE WORKED OUT ON UNIT
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

WEEKENDS: Every Other
FLOATING: yes, within skillset
COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
