We are hiring for an Application Analyst-Epic and PCC (Long Term Care and Rehab)

Responsibilities:

• Participate with long term care clinical workflows (Nursing, Nutrition, Therapy, etc.) and create workflow documentation and tipsheets as needed
• Work with various governance committees to develop integrated solutions with both PointClickCare (PCC) and Epic
• Configure system settings and user settings in PCC and Net Health
• Interface with users/clients across the Montefiore Health System. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality
• Perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associates or the vendor to coordinate the modification
• Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users: 
  • Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements
  • Interpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solution
  • Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system
  • Create system specifications from user requirements
• Create test plans and test new systems, integrated vendors, version upgrades, and any system modifications. Document all outcomes of testing.

• Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support
• Participate in technical integration and interface build
• Write and maintain accurate and current documentation Participate in the maintenance of training materials and disseminate materials to users

• Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, coordinate modifications and updates, recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoring
• Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis
• On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and/or its’ affiliates (on-site, rotational support)

Requirements:

• Epic certification: Must be earned to perform in this role. However, candidates do not need to be certified to interview. Consideration will be given to candidates that can demonstrate their ability to pass EPIC Certification in combination with relevant skills/experience. 
• Preferred qualifications:
  • Epic certification in ClinDoc and Rehab
  • Alternatively, certification in any other Epic clinical module
  • Alternatively, 2+ years of relevant clinical or business experience in PointClickCare (PCC) and/or Net Health will also be considered.
• Knowledge of long-term care and/or therapy workflows
• Application/System implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience
• Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Critical thinking skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, peers, and management
• Eager to learn, exceptional listening skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentations skills
• Excellent follow up skills, documentation skills and organizational skills
• Must be adaptable in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• MEETING ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR EPIC CERTIFICATION IS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
